A description of places seen in 'Charmed'.
The Halliwell Manor

• Address: 1329 Prescott Street, San Fransciso.

• The manor was rebuilt in 1906 when there was an earthquake and it was completely destroyed.

• The Manor has been in the Halliwell family for generations.

• The manor lies on a spiritual nexus, which is a point of incredible energy. A spiritual nexus is a place or thing that can be swayed either way - as a source of undeniable good or undeniable evil.

• It is believed that when a geographical point is equidistant from the five spiritual elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Wood and Metal), it is a place of great power.

Loe and behold! - the manor lies smack bang in the miffle of the Twin Peaks (Earth), Natural hot springs (Fire), The Bay (Water), Kenwood Park (Wood) and Mountain Lake Park (Metal).

When these 5 points are joined up on a map, they manor is in the middle of a pentagram - a wiccan symbol. This means that the manor is a battle ground for good and evil.

• The Halliwell family built the manor there to reclaim the spot for good.
The Mausoleum

• This was Cole and Phoebe's meeting spot when he was running from the Source and Bounty Hunters.

• It was safe because his shimmering couldn't be tracked there.

• This is also the place where Phoebe 'vanquished' Cole and told him to run away.
Magic School

• The name speaks for itself - it's where young witches go to learn about magic and how to use and control their powers.

• Gideon used to be the head master, but he closed it after attacks from the Headless Horseman. Paige was determined to keep it open and became head-mistress.

• It is a very safe place as it is well hidden from evil. Piper and Wyatt went to stay there to hide from whoever was after Wyatt (Ironically, he was is the building with them the whole time...).
Heaven

• This is the Whitelighter and Elder headquarters.

• It is a place above the clouds and is very peaceful, refreshing and white.

• You can't get to it without orbing power. Dark orbing (dark lighter transportation) won't get you up their either - so it is well protected.

• There are some very powerful things kept there, like the power that turned the Charmed Ones into Goddesses.
P3

• This is Piper's night club.

• It is named after Prue, Piper and Phoebe - the sisters three.

• Leo worked here when he had his wings clipped.

• Piper hired a manager in season four who renamed it to 'The Spot' and brought in half naked waitresses. Piper fired him because she thought he was trying too hard to be hip.

• There are always great musical acts playing there. To name a few: Dave Navaro, The Barenaked Ladies, The Donnas...
Quake

• Piper used to work at this resturant as the chef.

• We don't really see much of this place after Piper opened P3, but in the first season it was the main place to hang out.
The Underworld
• The underworld is where all the demons roam and congregate.

• The Source rules the underworld.

• The Grimoire is kept in the underworld - It is the evil book of spells.

• When the sisters go down into the underworld, Leo can't sense them as they have gone off his 'radar'.

• Phoebe married Cole (who was the Source) in the underworld and became his Queen.
Bucklands
• This is an auction house where Prue used to work. She identified objects and valued them.

• Prue's bosses, Rex Buckland and Hannah Webster, were demons. They knew she was a witch and tried their best to destroy the charmed ones, just like every other demon in the whole wide underworld.

• Prue quit when she wanted to become a photographer.
The Bay Mirror
• This is where Phoebe works as an advice columnist.

• She got the job after writing a fantastic column for the previous advice columnist so she didn't get sacked, as she was being possessed.

• It was run by Elise Rotheram until a young millionaire, Jason Dean, bought it. Phoebe dated him.

• Phoebe took a break in season 6 and Leslie StClaire came in to ghost write for her. She was still at the office as much as normal though because she liked seeing him. Phoebe dated him.
